Product
In 2005, CME shook up the MIDI controller keyboard market with the introduction of their first UF Series models. For the first time, keyboard players had access to a range of controller keyboards with professional keyboard actions, tough build quality, a convenient computer connection and features such as aftertouch and a breath controller input (unhead of on competing products at the time) - all at an entry level price! Naturally they became an instant hit with touring bands on the road and musicians and producers in the studio.
CME UF Series V2
Now, CME present version 2 of the UF Series keyboards, which introduce yet more innovations and pack even more features into the same tough aluminium chassis.
The stylish new models are the UF50 (49-key), UF60 (61-key), UF70 (76-key), all with semi-weighted keyboards and aftertouch, and the UF80 which has a piano hammer-action keyboard with aftertouch. Highlights of the new V2 feature set include a built-in WIDI interface (Wireless MIDI), increased velocity and aftertouch curves, registration banks for storing and recalling panel settings and a redesigned panel for more convenient control.
Four Models
The four UF Series models feature exactly the same facilities, but offer differing keyboard lengths (and a different keyboard action in the case of the UF80):

Built-in WIDI Interface - Wireless MIDI
The CME UF Series V2 models provide a built-in bi-directional WIDI interface (wireless MIDI) as an alternative to the USB and MIDI connections. A WIDI-EK wireless transmitter and receiver is built into each keyboard and a compact WIDI-XU USB transmitter/receiver is also supplied to plug into your computer. The UF Series V2 models therefore provide everything needed for a working wireless MIDI connection with a computer.
CME WIDI-XU Wireless USB MIDI Transmitter/Receiver - INCLUDED!
CME WIDI-XU - Compact Wireless USB MIDI Transmitter/Receiver - INCLUDED!
The UF50, UF60, UF70 and UF80 will also communicate with other WIDI compatible devices (such as the WIDI-X8). You can therefore build a WIDI system to meet your needs. WIDI transmission and reception will work up to a maximum distance of 80m (unobstructed) making it convenient not only in the studio, but live on stage too.
