The Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 is a 2 in / 2 out USB 2.0 audio interface with the highest specifications in its class and price-range. The latest addition to Focusrite’s Scarlett range of USB 2.0 interfaces, this interface features a new industrial design, which is sure to look great in any studio.

At the heart of the interface are two award-winning Focusrite microphone preamplifiers providing a clean signal path for mic, instrument or line level sources. Bundled with the Focusrite Scarlett Plug-In Suite in addition to Ableton Live Lite, the interface provides all that is needed to get recording right away.

The Scarlett 2i2 features a red anodised aluminium unibody chassis; not only does it look fantastic, it is also rugged enough to throw into a laptop bag and make recordings anywhere. Since it’s bus powered, an additional power supply is not needed meaning that the Scarlett 2i2 is truly portable.

Each of the gain knobs is surrounded by a unique LED halo signal indicator. This glows green when an input signal is detected, and turns red if clipping occurs. This provides a quick and easy way of ensuring that the right signal level is achieved.

Two Focusrite preamps ensure low noise and low distortion, whilst high quality digital converters help capture your audio with pristine quality.
